Technical Introduction
The full name of Cat. 1 is LTEUE Category1, where UE refers to user devices, which is the classification of wireless performance of user terminal devices in the LTE network. According to the definition of 3GPP, UE categories are divided into 15 levels based on 1-15. Cat. 1, also known as the "low-end version" of 4G terminals, has a peak uplink speed of 5Mbit/s and a peak downlink speed of 10Mbit/s. It belongs to the cellular Internet of Things and is a wide area network.
